Air plants are super cool since they don’t need to be planted in soil! They are pet/child safe and are hard to overwater! But, don’t let water sit inside their cup shaped leaves for long periods, or they can get root rot! Give them a good shake out and let dry upside down after submerging them once a week for about 30 minutes to an hour!

Check it out and let me know in the comments what your favorite house plants are! I’ve also made notes for each type of plant you can buy from me about their light needs, how hardy they are, when and how much to water them as well as consistently noting whether they are safe for pets and children or not. You can buy from me with confidence knowing you will have the tools to take good care of your plants and your family.

This droolworthy ivy has such great character!! A perfect addition to your houseplant collection, just don’t let pets and children chew on it!

Spaths are one of my favorite houseplants because they have such gorgeous flowers and leaves and they are one of the best air purifiers! They love their water, so I typically recommend watering them once a week by submerging them up to the first few inches of their leaves in a bucket for a minute or two and then letting them drain fully before returning them to their favorite spot in your house! These ones shouldn’t be chewed on by pets or littles, but can survive in fairly low light conditions!

Love to you all,

Lisa
